Located in Montana’s largest city, Billings, Rimrock Mall enjoys the highest sales volume and sales per square foot of any other center in the state. In recent years, upscale national merchants are discovering this market, as exemplified by the successful new outparcel building at Rimrock Mall fully occupied by Chico’s, Coldwater Creek, Starbucks and Talbots. Starbucks opened a second location inside the mall, while anchor Herberger’s moved forward with an expansion and renovation.

Billings, which is situated in the south central section of Montana, is a hub for transportation, manufacturing, energy, agricultural and retail businesses. Nestled between the mountains of the west and the plains of the east, Billings also serves as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park. All four seasons have something different to offer in its wide-open spaces: hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, rafting, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and golfing. Many students are drawn from wide distances to study at two major colleges. Billings also is home to two major medical campuses, making the city the medical and educational center for the region.
